To ensure that all your single leaf door casing and lining applications comply with the latest regulations, we now offer BWF Approved Fire Door Casings and Linings. These exceed the minimum requirements of most of the UK’s major door manufacturers for single leaf door applications.

Most fire door applications are assembled and installed in component format. By using BWF Approved Fire Door Casings or Linings, you can be assured that providing you follow the door manufacturer’s own fitting instructions you will be compliant. All BWF Fire Door Casings and Linings can be reduced in width to a minimum of 70mm without any effect on end performance and
whilst still complying with BWF standards.

If taken below 70mm, casings and linings will not meet these recommendations and should not be used. The thickness of the linings must not be reduced in any way. No other changes may be made apart from crosscutting the legs and heads to fit the aperture.
